About this file

This is a Sources Sought Notice issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration, Veterans Integrated Service Network 17 (VA NCO 17 VHA Regional Procurement Office-West) for market research purposes regarding a Patient Elopement Installation requirement. The solicitation number is 36C25726Q0529, with a response deadline of May 13, 2026 at 3:00 PM Central Time. The contracting office is located in Duncanville, Texas (zip code 75137), with the primary point of contact being Contract Specialist Francisco J. Mendoza. The product/service code is J035 (Construction/Installation Services), and the NAICS code is 238210. The VA intends to use responses from this market research notice to determine the appropriate procurement strategy for a future solicitation, including whether to set aside the contract for small businesses, pursue a sole source award, or conduct an unrestricted competition.

Interested vendors must submit responses including business name, address, point of contact information, SAM UID number, NAICS code, business size designation (small or large), business type (such as SDVOSB, VOSB, 8(a), HUBZone, or WOSB), authorization letters from OEM manufacturers if applicable, and any existing GSA or VA Federal Supply Schedule contract numbers. The VA specifically requests estimated market research pricing to evaluate whether small businesses can provide fair and reasonable pricing; if the Contracting Officer determines that capable small businesses cannot meet pricing requirements, the future solicitation may not be set aside for small business. All eligible contractors are encouraged to respond, as the information gathered will inform the procurement strategy. Responses should be sent to Francisco.Mendoza@va.gov.
