About this file

This is a site plan and technical drawing for steam and chilled water infrastructure inspection and maintenance at a federal facility. The drawing depicts the layout of steam supply and condensate return lines, chilled water piping, and associated mechanical systems across multiple buildings or zones on a campus-style property. The plan is color-coded to distinguish between different piping systems: green lines indicate steam/condensate routes, blue lines show chilled water distribution, red lines denote additional mechanical connections, and purple lines mark the property boundary.

The document includes general notes specifying that all existing piping must be inspected and documented, with particular attention to valve conditions and line integrity prior to work performance. Three critical site visit notes dated February 2026 are included: contractors must refer to supplementary drawing notes for steam supply and condensate return details with specified 8-inch steam and 3-inch condensate pipe sizes; the drawing applies only to the steam and chilled water systems and supersedes other project documentation; and contractors must ensure lines are valved and locked, with verification that all valves are holding before commencing work. The document includes multiple photographs showing existing mechanical infrastructure, valve assemblies, piping connections, and equipment installations. A VA (Veterans Affairs) logo appears on the document, indicating this is a Department of Veterans Affairs facility project. The drawing is identified as Site Plan M1.01 and includes a reference number 36C2572S0B281.
