About this file

This document is a Technical Questions and Answers file for RFQ 36C25726Q0227 regarding WTX Mold Remediation services. The Q&A addresses five key inquiries from prospective contractors regarding project requirements and documentation.

The document provides critical information including the designated Licensed Mold Assessment Consultant (MAC) contact details: Texas Consulting Services located in Midland, Texas with License Number MAC-0293 and contact information (432-687-5455. The government confirms that the Mold Survey Report containing pre-remediation test results is attached and available to establish baseline data for post-remediation testing. Mechanical drawings for duct cleaning areas are provided via the attached DOM Floor Plan and DOM Mechanical Plans. Regarding duct cleaning scope, the answer clarifies that the consultant retains authority to mandate additional duct cleaning beyond Phase One based on objective sampling data indicating unsuccessful initial cleaning or discovery of additional damage adjacent to containment areas. The government emphasizes that while such expansion is not anticipated, this provision allows flexibility to expand the duct cleaning scope if sampling results or additional damage discovery necessitates more extensive work than originally scoped.

WTX - Mold Remediation don't anticipate this occurring, but it our way of stating from the outset that sampling and/or further damage may mean we need to go further with a more broad scope in the duct cleaning.
