1. Q: Per the SOW and drawing provided, the ramp that leads up to the dock is noted with its dimensions and the small parking area just shows to be existing. During the site walk it was noted that the ramp will stay and not be removed but the small parking area will be removed. Can the VA confirm what they want to be in the scope of work?

A: Yes, that is correct after review and discussion the ramp will remain and the parking area should be included in the work.

2. Q: Will the existing curb be removed and replaced as part of this project?

A: The curb should remain in place. Any damage will be at the expense of the contractor.

A: Ramp will not be part of this project.

A: Provide new striping in parking area, stop strip and repaint curbs to match existing.

A: Yes

10. Q: The SOW indicates the area drain may need to be lowered. Does the area currently have proper drainage to the area drain or is lowering the area drain required due to constraints to tie into existing concrete and the loading dock?
