1. We would like to know if this is a brand new contract OR if there is (was) an incumbent performing these services.

This solicitation is for a new contract.

If not brand new, could you please provide the current / previous contract number? N/A.

2. We see the core hours of work. If there are dampers that need to be tested outside of these hours, would the government allow the contractor to complete those dampers on nights and weekends during non-core hours?

Yes, as needed.

3. Will an escort be provided or will a badge/keys be provided?

An Escort will be provided.

4. ICRA requirements, will this be an ICRA 1 or ICRA 2 policy?

ICRA 2 (However, ICRA is not needed as there will be no penetrations made or drywall cut, etc.)

5. Will a containment cart be needed for any of the damper inspections? If so, will a containment cart be provided or will we need to provide one? A containment cart will not be needed.

6. Can you please provide the type of fusible links that will need to be changed out?

UL approved fusible link that complies with National Fire Protection Association.

7. How many of the dampers will need to be inspected using scaffolding? Ten (10).

8. How are we to factor in pricing for the penetrations for the firestopping?

No penetrations will be made.

9. The RFI references PPE, is there specific PPE required? If so, what?

Standard PPE (leather gloves if needed, dust masks).
