About this file

This document is an Amendment of Solicitation/Modification of Contract for a Request for Quotation (RFQ) issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office 16 for the Michael E. DeBakey Veterans Affairs Medical Center. The solicitation is for the purchase and installation of On the Right Track Privacy Curtains or equivalent, with a commodity procurement targeting retrofit installation of privacy curtain tracks in various hospital areas. The RFQ includes a comprehensive Q&A section addressing technical details such as track configurations, installation requirements, and contractor experience expectations.

Key details include a delivery date of 12/31/2025, permission for contractors to reconfigure existing tracks, perform on-site measurements, and potential installation in areas without existing privacy curtains. Contractors must demonstrate five years of technical experience as a prime contractor, submit up to three technical experience entries, and provide a detailed quote breakdown including individual parts, components, and total quantities. The solicitation allows for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses to participate, with the prime contractor responsible for liability insurance. The RFQ amendment extends the receipt of offers deadline to 12/01/2025 at 1600 CST.
