About this file

This document is an Amendment to Solicitation for an Access Control Readers project at the G.V. (Sonny) Montgomery VA Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi. The solicitation (36C25625Q0566) seeks installation of access control systems and AiPhone devices for Buildings 9, 10, and 29, with a comprehensive turnkey implementation requiring all necessary equipment, cabling, conduit, and electrical work. Key project details include a 180-calendar day performance period, OSHA 10 training requirement for all employees, and the need for complete access control infrastructure including door contacts, locking hardware, card readers, and network drops.

The solicitation has been extended to August 14, 2025, at 16:00 CST, with the Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Health Administration (VAMC) seeking a contractor to provide a fully functional access control system. The project requires using Software House cabinets and power supplies, complete conduit for all cabling, and integration with existing Software House programming. The VA will provide credential cards/fobs, and the contractor is responsible for all installation components, including electrical circuits, network connectivity, and compliance with infection control measures outlined in the Statement of Work.
