About this file
This document is an Amendment of Solicitation/Modification of Contract (Standard Form 30) issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office (NCO) 15 in Leavenworth, Kansas on June 26, 2026. The amendment pertains to solicitation 36C25526Q0362 and provides the Government's response to thirteen questions and answers submitted by prospective offerors. The amendment is not extended, meaning the original solicitation due date remains unchanged and offerors must acknowledge receipt of this amendment prior to the specified deadline through completion of the form, acknowledgment on offer copies, or separate written communication.
The questions and answers address key solicitation details regarding grounds maintenance services at Jefferson Barracks VA Medical Center. Notable responses indicate there is no incumbent contractor currently providing these services, no site visits are available, and no on-site equipment storage is permitted. Fertilization, seeding, and mulch applications are included in the monthly fixed price. One difficult-to-access courtyard area between buildings 54 and 53 may be serviced using weed trimmers. The Government provided a property map identifying the VA Medical Center boundaries and excludes two areas from the contract scope: the B51 mental health courtyard and the 255 gravel lot. Specific details regarding mowing frequency, acreage by zone, security/badging requirements, and the Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan are referenced in the Performance Work Statement and Attachment A, which are not included in this amendment document.
