About this file
This is a Wage Determination by Reference document, which establishes prevailing wage requirements applicable to the solicitation for a Public Address System Station replacement project at the Robert J. Dole VA Medical Center (Solicitation Number 36C25526Q0243-1). The wage determination document references prevailing wage rates that contractors and subcontractors must comply with when performing work under this federal contract awarded by the Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Health Administration Veterans Integrated Service Network 15. This wage determination document provides the legally required compensation standards for all laborers and mechanics engaged in the project, including those involved in system removal, equipment installation, wiring, programming, testing, and training activities related to the public address system replacement initiative.
The prevailing wage rates specified in this document are mandatory for all contract performance and apply to workers classified under various job categories that may be utilized during the installation and replacement of the public address system components. Contractors must ensure all employees working on this project receive compensation at or above the rates established in the wage determination, which typically includes base hourly wages plus fringe benefits. Compliance with prevailing wage requirements is a federal obligation under the Davis-Bacon Act and related prevailing wage statutes applicable to federal construction and service contracts.
