About this file
This document is an Amendment (No. 0002) to a Request for Lease Proposal (RLP) issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs for a medical office space lease in Hudson, Ohio. The VA seeks to lease up to 8,000 rentable square feet of medical office space with 40 surface parking spaces, located on a single floor in an existing building within a specified geographic area. The amendment responds to Requests for Information (RFIs) received by July 21, 2025, and updates Exhibit B and Exhibit D with additional details about wall protection, medical gas systems, hot water specifications, and equipment requirements.
Key updates include added specifications for Acrovyn wall protection, medical gas and vacuum systems, domestic hot water systems, and clarification on equipment responsibilities, such as boom lighting and column equipment arms in operating and endoscopy rooms. The lease will be a fully serviced, turnkey procurement with a term not exceeding 10 years, released as a full and open competition without a specific set-aside. The solicitation has detailed requirements for the property, including proximity to amenities, accessibility, parking capabilities, and compatibility with VA's intended medical office use.
