The work schedule operates on two shifts Monday through Friday (6 AM to midnight) and one shift on weekends (6 AM to 5 PM). The project must be completed within 9 consecutive work weeks, with 4 weeks allocated for each of two phases, plus one week for activation between phases. A 4-day period between Phase 1 and Phase 2 is reserved for VA personnel to move and sterilize furniture and equipment. Due to the sterile environment, the pre-bid walkthrough is limited to two employees per general contractor.
