About this file

This document is a Request for Information (RFI) related to the "Triennial Electrical Breaker Testing" project at the Department of Veterans Affairs facility in Indianapolis, IN. The RFI provides questions and answers regarding the required qualifications for personnel performing the testing, specifically whether a Certified Level II Thermographer is acceptable instead of a NETA certified technician. The response indicates that a Certified Level II Thermographer is acceptable as long as they meet the trade qualification requirements described in the Scope of Work. The RFI also addresses a question regarding the provision of 480V power, with the reply stating that the power will be provided by a 480V panel. The related federal contract opportunity is Solicitation Number 36C25024Q0966, which requires NETA Level 3 certification or equivalent, and indicates that while a site walk is not planned, the category for the VA Notice of Limitations on Subcontracting is Services.
