2. Could you provide the current L5 and L6 fixture make and model? The part numbers listed on the construction drawings were provided by the lighting rep. If these are not the most current part numbers, contact the lighting rep for the updated part number matching the description indicated.
3. Is there an ICRA requirement for building T9? Information added as a part of this Amendment.
4. Could you provide pictures for the penetration locations, route for conduit, and distances needed to tie new lights into electrical panel RP3 in building T9 for work to be performed on sheet ES 103. The door was locked, and we could not view. A second Site Visit is to be scheduled via an Amendment.
Penetrations, distances, and routing shall be means and methods and are the responsibility of the contractor.
5. On sheet ES 101 building 30 has 4 L2 lights with note #2 “ON LEVEL 3 OF PARKING DECK 30, DISCONNECT AND REMOVE EXISTING SURFACE MOUNTED RECEPTACLE, BACKBOX AND CONDUIT
TO JUNCTION BOX. EXTEND EXISTING CIR CUIT IN ANEW CONDUIT TO NEW LIGHT FIXTURE TYPE L2, MOUNTED ON OUTSIDE OF COLUMN. CONDUIT SHALL BE SURFACE MOUNTED”. On the site visit, there were no existing lights. It would appear that this work will require a new circuit. If so, could you provide pictures for the penetration locations, rout for conduit, and distances needed to tie new lights into electrical panel. Will a new breaker be required? If so, what is the panel make and model?
The existing receptacles are being removed (there are no existing lights) and the circuit is being re-purposed for the new lights, which are mounted on the outside of the building on those columns as shown. Penetrations, distances and routing of the new circuit shall be means and methods and are the responsibility of the contractor. See picture in item 24 below for example.

35. Regarding the new fixture and conduit on Level 3 of Parking Deck 30:
a. Is the existing circuit in the ceiling of the parking deck? The existing circuit is surface mounted as indicated in the work description notes.
b. If so, that circuit is a 24/7 circuit; should we add a photocell to the new L2 type fixture? The part number in the fixtures schedule indicates that a photocell is integral to the fixture.
c. Does the SOW require any aesthetic work (painting, etc) to the new conduit? No, the conduit shall meet the requirements listed in the specifications.
36. Regarding the interior fixtures and conduit, we were not provided access to most interior spaces.
Please provide the following information for each location:
a. How far is each new conduit run? Distances and routing shall be means and methods and are the responsibility of the contractor.
b. Some of the panels appear to be on different floors. Is there a chase through the floors or will additional core drilling be required? A second Site Visit is to be scheduled via an Amendment.
c. What type of ceilings are in each location (open, drop, etc)? This varies – A second Site Visit is to be scheduled via an Amendment.
d. Are pictures available of each new fixture location? No, but this is an exterior lighting project, therefore the exterior of the buildings are visible by walking the site.

a. It appears the temporary flagpole lights are being fed from a light pole approximately ten feet away. Should the conduit be removed to this point, or will additional work be required? Please elaborate. Work should be as indicated in note 7. Existing circuit, conduit and all appurtenances should be removed in their entirety.
39. Regarding the extension of circuits from existing pole lighting, there are fire hydrant water lines and likely other services in the ground. Is there a recent GPR survey of this area or will one be required as part of this SOW? There is no recent GPR survey, it is the contractors’ responsibility to do an underground locate prior to digging on the site.
40. Regarding the new pole base specified in Detail 1 on Sheet ES100, would you consider a partial base replacement in lieu of a full base replacement? We believe it would be less intrusive to deconstruct the pole 12” below grade, reforming, and bonding the new section to the older section. No – full base replacement.
41. Regarding extension of the non-switched leg of lighting circuit RS-41, we were not given access inside. Please provide the following information:
a. Are we correct is assuming that one existing fixture will be used to feed the new fixture? The lighting circuit is coming from a labeled junction box.
b. What is the length of the new conduit run? Distances and routing shall be means and methods and are the responsibility of the contractor.
