About this file

This document contains a Request for Information (RFI) and related details for a federal construction project. The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to solicit bids for a project to construct a third floor on an existing building and renovate space on the first floor of another building at its Cincinnati VA Medical Center. The project scope includes general construction work as well as mechanical, electrical and other construction services. The total project value is estimated between $5-10 million. The solicitation will be set aside exclusively for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses, which must be verified in federal databases. The selected contractor must complete at least 15% of construction work and have no more than three serious OSHA/EPA violations or an experience modification rate over 1.0. The base period of performance is 730 calendar days from notice to proceed. Bonds will be required.
