About this file
This is a Solicitation Questions & Answers document addressing three key inquiries related to a construction project.
Regarding material specifications, all questions concerning countertop materials and cabinet layout requirements should be referenced in the Statement of Work (SOW) documents. For material sourcing, the lessor bears responsibility for determining whether materials are ordered from Oahu or the Mainland, provided the selected items meet government requirements. Concerning prevailing wage requirements, Davis-Bacon Prevailing Wages are mandated if the construction project is performed for the government (including federal buildings, VA facilities, or military bases) and is federally funded.
