About this file
This document is an Amendment of Solicitation/Modification of Contract for a water quality monitoring and testing services opportunity at the Lexington VA Medical Center. The amendment provides detailed questions and answers regarding sample collection requirements, including 24 monthly samples, 38 quarterly samples (confirmed as additional), and 9 annual samples across different water types (utility cold water, utility hot water, steam, and critical water).
The sampling details include specific breakdown of sample locations and test quantities, with 18 total sample ports to be installed (13 copper line ports and 5 PVC line ports). Work will be performed during daytime hours. Several key details remain unknown and will require on-site assessment, with the solicitation noting the vendor must be a subject matter expert on AAMI ST108. This will be a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) allowing flexibility, with the contract covering water quality monitoring services for the Lexington VA Health Care System from 05/01/2025 through 04/30/2028, consisting of three one-year ordering periods.
