Division One Containers -

· Please provide the name of the landfill in which the Government owned San-I-Pak is manifested, haul to, and contents disposed of.

A: Benson Valley Landfill, 2557 Highway 151, Frankfort, KY 40601.

· The referenced 42 Cubic Yard container located at the Rear of Main Building and serviced on as needed basis. Is this referring to a 40 cubic yard open-top roll-off?

A: Yes.

Can you provide any specific information to the 30cy self-contained trash compactor requirements such as: power supply, voltage, phase, front load or side load, ramp, rails, enclosed, etc.?

A: The SANI-PAK/Compactor is a combined unit: 120V control circuit as well as a three -phase power source. Trash is dumped into the compactor chamber and pushed forward into the dumpster, when full or ready for a replacement contain a screen is secured over the opening to contain the trash for transport (frontloaded). The system is enclosed with railing, ramp and control panel on the upper level deck, and the container on the ground.

2. APPROXIMATE ACCULULATION OTHER THAN SANI-PAK: Approximately 2 to 4 million pounds of trash be accumulated annually and require removal. The approximate weight of accumulation is furnished for information only. The contractor agrees to remove the entire accumulation of trash and non-edible garbage. Approximately 2 to 4 million pounds of trash is a very imprecise quantity of waste being disposed on a flat rate cost per pull. Can you provide the past 3 years of weights broken out to the different roll-offs and the 30 cubic yard compactor? Without this historical information anyone other than the incumbent could provide a fair and reasonable bid.
