3. Please verify period of performance. We respectfully suggest to modify contract period of performance, we understand that 30 days is not enough time for this type of project. Agree, recommend having the period of performance extended up to 240 days.

4. Please provide specification for data requitements and works on VA IT Closets. Awaiting IT response.

Second Set of Questions:

Project Management:

1- Please provide layouts for all sites, showing the systems and relative locations to each other, including measurements. See attached.

2- 30 days for the performance is too short for this project. Are you going to reevaluate this?

Agree, recommend having the period of performance extended up to 240 days.

3- For the yearly maintenance, is this something you require the contractor to visit regularly to keep the systems working or is this like a preventive maintenance activity to be performed only once a year? This will based on the requirements of the selected equipment. .

About requirements:

4- Does the proposed solution have to connect to the existing network on-site? We need details on the type of connections you require / allow for the project. For example: Is it required to connect to an existing system on each site or do we get the signal to the Internet via your network or via cellular and then receive them at the San Juan location for monitoring? Based on previous similar ones for IT Closets, if personnel will be working on them, then an ITOPS escort is required. And since the main hub is in San Juan, I believe all CBOCs will be connected to San

Juan.

5- Is the Trane Tracer Ensemble system installed on each site? We need information on the architecture of the Trane Tracer installation. Trane TRACER Ensemble installed at San Juan’s

Operations Control Center.

6- Do you require the solution to have its own power supply (UPS) in case of site power failure? Yes.

Technical:

7- The scope requires to perform an assessment at the listed clinics. For the proposal, do you require a solution that works in any situation? This is because the conditions and VA equipment may vary. What can we assume without doing the assessment first? Based on the observations at the Mayaguez Outpatient Clinic and the layouts provided, provide a systematic solution that can be applied to all facilities.
