The purpose of this amendment is to provide answers to questions that have been posed for this requirement.

1. Question: What are brand and type of trip units that are on the LVDO breakers being tested?

Answer: The LVDO breakers in bldg. 100 include AC‐PRO digital trip units, Digitrip units, and several Amptector 1‐A Model LSIG units.

2. Question: Can the relay testing be performed during the day shift?

Answer: Yes

3. Question: Can the contractor schedule consecutive nights for the breaker testing?

4. Question: During the IR test the contractor would not open the plans, just scan the breakers, correct?

Answer: For the buildings conducting breaker testing, the panels would be opened and the dead fronts removed for IR scanning. For the other buildings, the panel doors would be opened, but the dead fronts will not be taken off.

5. Will the government provide a pass to the contractor would allow us to park close to the work site?

6. Question: The PWS states that all molded case breakers that are 225 amps and higher would be a high current test. Will the contractor be able to stage the generator and test set before the work begins?

7. Question: Does the VA provide the generator or other power source to operate the high current test set?

Answer: The contractor is responsible to supply all the required equipment.
