About this file
This document is an amendment to a previous combined solicitation for Hoptel Lodging Services. The Department of Veterans Affairs Carl Vinson VA Medical Center is seeking to purchase lodging services for veteran beneficiaries authorized overnight hotel/motel accommodations under the Hoptel Program. The services are required on an as-needed basis for one base year from 12/01/2024 through 11/30/2025, with four one-year option periods.
The amendment provides answers to questions received in response to the solicitation and changes the deadline for quote submittals from October 17, 2024 at 1:00 PM ET to October 18, 2024 at 11:00 AM ET. Key details include: the government is not disclosing the budget requirement, disability-assisted rooms are needed based on individual veteran requirements, there are no seasonal or fluctuating demand trends, and the VA will use an inspection checklist to assess contractor compliance with quality standards. The solicitation is set-aside for service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses (SDVOSB) under NAICS code 721110.
