About this file
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation from the Department of Veterans Affairs seeking janitorial services for the Ralph H. Johnson VA Medical Center. The solicitation requests quotes for janitorial services for the canteen kitchen, food and nutrition kitchen, and non-patient care areas totaling approximately 50,000 square feet. Quotes are requested for a base year period of October 1, 2021 to September 30, 2022 with options for four additional years. Quotes are due by September 10, 2021 at 3:00 PM EST and must include pricing for the base year and four option years. The solicitation is set aside for service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses and will be awarded on a best value basis considering price and past performance. The performance work statement outlines required cleaning tasks and frequencies for the canteen, cafeteria, food preparation areas, and general services areas.
