FIRE SUPPRESSION TESTING

Q. Can CLIN X004, Quarterly Reports, be eliminated and included as a function of CLIN X0003 similar to the semi-annual and annual inspections? Separating out the cost of report preparation from the inspection may not be quantifiable as the report is technically prepared as the inspection is being done through barcode scanning. Sending the report is simply exporting it from the database and emailing.

A. No, We require quarterly reports/inspections.

Q. In the past to avoid confusion regarding the number of visits required, we typically see quarterly quantities of 2 and semi-annual quantity of 1. This is due to the combination of multiple periodicity requirements occurring during the same visit. For example, for this scope of work, in January a semi-annual and quarterly visit will be completed, during April only a quarterly visit, during July an annual visit which also includes the semi-annual and quarterly for the same month, and October will only be a quarterly visit. Can you please revise quantities in pricing table for CLIN X001, X002, and X003, or confirm you want us to price as is?

A. No, Inspection is done per NFPA and TJC time lines. There should be 2 Quarterly inspections, 1 Semi Annual, and 1 Annual Inspection. Every quarter will require a site vist.

Q. CLIN X006 shows an hourly rate of $83.04. Is this expected to be the rate offerors are to provide emergency repair services for? Please clarify how this is to be priced.
