D-Wing Roof Repair 36C24623R0089 12/13/2023

1. Attachment A has not been provided. Per solicitation: Offerors must submit an itemized breakdown of costs (Attachment A) to include an Itemized Schedule of Values Cost breakdown for Base, Alternative 1 and Alternative 2 in sufficient detail to permit a complete analysis of labor burden, materials, equipment, transportation, supervision, disposal costs, overhead and profit and shall cover all work involved in accordance with (IAW) Statement of Work (SOW).

VA Answer: The attached document titled “Itemized schedule of values cost breakdown” is Attachment A.

1. Please confirm that all RFI responses from the last two solicitations on this same scope of work apply to this project solicitation, or that they are otherwise incorporated into the current design docs. It otherwise appears as though the drawings are identical.

VA Answer: Confirmed.

1. Please provide an acceptable MOC range, as the stated $1,000,000.00 - $2,000,000.00 is not possible with the scope of work included within the design docs. As the last solicitation was canceled 8 weeks after the proposal date, it can only be assumed that price was one of the deciding factors. This could otherwise be a waste of time and effort to assemble a proposal package if there are no changes from the last solicitation.

VA Answer: Range confirmed.

1. Concerning the acceptable price range, please confirm that:

3. Project duration has increased by one month from the last solicitation, to 16 months

3. Quantity of staff designated to the project remains unchanged from the last solicitation (1 superintendent/QCM, 1 SSHO, plus third party inspections)

3. Overall scope of the project shown on the drawings remains unchanged from the last solicitation (plans are still dated 7/12/22)

3. Duration to hold pricing remains 120 days VA Answer: Please submit a proposal, if interested, with the focus on current solicitation documents.

1. From section 01 45 00, Part 3.2-C.: “Design-Building Projects: [use this section only for design build projects other wise delete content and insert “Not Used”]”. Please confirm that this section is not used and also that there will be no requirement for the GC to employ staff with an engineering or architectural degree.

VA Answer: Not a design build project.
