THE PURPOSES OF THIS AMENDMENT TO SOLICITATION NUMBER 36C24619Q0672 ARE AS FOLLOWS:
1. ANSWER TECHNICAL QUESTIONS IN RESPONSE TO THE SOLICITATION.
2. CHANGE THE CONTRACTING POINT OF CONTRACT FROM TAKIRA FLOYD TO ASHLEY KORAHAES.
3. CHANGE THE ELECTRONIC QUOTE SUBMISSION EMAIL ADDRESS FROM takira.floyd@va.gov to ashley.korahaes@va.gov .
Answers to Solicitation Questions (Answers in Red):
1. Is this a new requirement or is there an incumbent contractor currently performing these services? new requirement
1. If there is an existing requirement, will you provide the current contract number?
1. If there is an existing requirement, can you provide the number of FTE’s currently working under the contract?
1. Section 4.1 of the SOW indicates the need to support the 3 outpatient clinics. Is there data showing the frequency for visiting each of these clinics on a weekly basis? No data yet

In section 4.3, item (f) states the requirement to have outgoing mail delivered to USPS prior to 5:00 p.m. daily, while item (i) states that mail is to be delivered to the Charlotte sorting facility by 7:00 p.m. Please clarify the daily requirement relating to these two tasks. 5pm is for any next day required delivery items and 7 pm Charlotte is the all other
1. What is the Level of Effort (manhours or FTEs) to perform these tasks? Currently 4 FTEE at 40 hrs per week
1. What type of motor vehicle license is required (private or commercial), if commercial, is it a Class A or B? Presumably Class C
1. Are the drivers dedicated to driving motor vehicles only, or do they perform other mail room functions also? We don’t employ drivers, USPS will PU but the delivery but the contractor will need to deliver to Charlotte and/or Greenville based on the mail
1. Are the vehicles required to move mail from one facility to the other and from the US Post Office or other provider, Government Provided or Contractor Provided? Contractor Provided
1. What capacity (.e., ½ Ton, ¾ Ton vans, 2-1/2 or 5Ton Truck, Tractor Trailer) vehicles is required to pick up and deliver the mail? Small box truck

1. Will a site visit be allowed for the 3 clinics? NO, the clinics will not be a part of the base year.

1. Is the contractor to include postage in the price for the “Outgoing Mail Services” on the price sheet? If so what are:
