About this file

This is an amendment to a previous combined solicitation addressing clarifications and questions regarding a boiler fuel reserve tank installation project. The Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Maryland Health Care System, is seeking to purchase and install a 6,000-gallon reserve fuel tank at the Loch Raven VA Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland (3901 Loch Raven Boulevard, Baltimore, MD 21218). The tank will supplement the existing reserve fuel tank, be positioned on the existing asphalt drive lane adjacent to the emergency generator, and include delivery, installation, fuel line connection, and tank area securing. The solicitation number is 36C24526Q0377, with a closing date of April 6, 2026, at 12:00 PM Eastern Time. The contracting office is located in Perry Point, Maryland (ZIP code 21902), with Contracting Officer Theresa Thomas serving as the point of contact (theresa.thomas7@va.gov).

The amendment provides responses to four critical technical questions: the distance from the new tank location to the boiler room is approximately 40 feet; electrical power is available at location G-17 with options for cord connection or panel integration to be determined in the field; the facility currently holds an oil storage permit; and the existing monitoring system is a VeederRoot TLS-450 Plus model. The product service code is 6680 (Tanks and Accessories), and the NAICS code is 333914. No Recovery Act funds or SBA set-asides apply to this procurement.
