About this file
This document is an Amendment (0003) to a Request for Quotes (RFQ) for a security system installation at the Perry Point VA Medical Center issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs VISN 5 Contract Satellite Office. The solicitation (36C24525Q0512) requires providing and installing a comprehensive security system including an Ademco Vista 128BPT panel, seven dual tech motion detectors, a wireless receiver, wireless door contact, relay boards, zone expander, and necessary cabling. The contract includes parts and labor, with a base period from July 1, 2025 to June 30, 2026, classified under NAICS code 561621 for Security Systems Services.
The amendment includes detailed Request for Information (RFI) questions and answers, clarifying system specifications such as alarm panel communication via network to a Lenel OnGuard Alarm Monitoring workstation, two required keypads, system segmentation for police operations and armory areas, and confirmation that alarms will report internally to the building's police station. Quotes are due by June 26, 2025 at 1:00 PM EST, to be submitted to Patricia.Thai@va.gov. The RFI responses indicate a preference for DMP systems and potential integration with Lenel OnGuard V8.0, with a floor plan of Building 59 provided as an attachment to support vendor planning and implementation.
