1. On page 2 of 14 of the Solicitation, the Description section states “the VAMC is seeking to purchase GetWell Televisions…”, then on pages 2-6 of 14 of the Solicitation, in the Supplies/Services parts list section, there is no item part number for a television included and, lastly, on page 6 of the Solicitation, the SoW states “…items and services necessary to install and network the existing GetWell TVs…”. Therefore, please clarify whether the Contractor is to include new television sets in the quote? If the answer is “yes”, is a specific brand/model required or a certain specification of the television sought?

• Yes, television sets are required and must be compatible with the GetWell system and be all in ones. They also have to have an integrated camera. The contractor would need to have validation from GetWell that their proposed model of TV is compatible with their system. We are not requiring a certain model, but are requiring the camera, all in one spec, and that GetWell confirm that they can install their software on the TVs. The Contractor is also responsible for installing the GetWell software and is responsible for its functionality on the TV.

2. Does the network cabling and hardware exist and is to be reused in this upgrade or is new network infrastructure a requirement? (i.e. low voltage data cabling, coaxial cable, LAN hardware, etc.) If so please provide the requirements?

• Yes, network cabling and hardware exist. All in room hardware is to be replaced.

Data cabling and coax are already present. Network switches are nothing being replaced

3. Is the “infrastructure hardware” as included in the SoW on page 6 of 14 of the Solicitation the installation hardware items that comprise the Supplies/Services list?

• The answer is yes.
