About this file
Amendment 0002 for Solicitation 36C24425Q0301 provides vendor questions and answers related to a chemical water treatment contract for boilers and chillers at three Department of Veterans Affairs medical centers in Pennsylvania (Coatesville, Lebanon, and Wilkes-Barre). The amendment clarifies key details about existing water treatment infrastructure, system specifications, and operational parameters, including chemical dosing equipment, water quality testing, equipment usage, and system characteristics at each facility.
The solicitation is a firm-fixed price contract to be billed monthly, with a Small Business Administration (SBA) set-aside. Key contract details include daily water testing at all locations, use of existing chemical feed and containment tanks (with variations by site), and cooling tower/chilled water systems that operate year-round or seasonally. The response deadline is April 15, 2025, at 12:00 pm Eastern Time, with the contract covering water treatment services across multiple VA medical center locations in Pennsylvania.
