About this file
This is a modification notice to a previously posted Sources Sought announcement (36C24226R0116) for an Architect-Engineer (A/E) services contract with the Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration, Veterans Integrated Service Network 2. The modification changes the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code from 541310 (Architectural Services) to 541330 (Engineering Services), which consequently adjusts the small business size standard from $12.5 million to $25.5 million. The contract concerns project 528A8-CSI-806 for renovating rooms A214-A217 on the second floor of the A-Wing at the Stratton VA Medical Center in Albany, New York, to accommodate installation of a new Philips large bore 1.5T helium-free MRI unit.
The contract is a 100 percent Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set-aside procured under the Brooks Act as implemented in FAR Part 36. Interested contractors must be registered in SAM and verified/certified as SDVOSB in the SBA's Dynamic Small Business Search at time of submission. The original response date was September 14, 2026, at 10:00 AM Eastern Time. The anticipated award date is on or before December 24, 2026. The contracting office is located at the Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office 02 in Syracuse, New York, with the point of contact being Contract Specialist Ryan Seburn (Ryan.Seburn@va.gov, 315-751-6369). Submissions must comply with VAAR clauses 852.219-75 and 852.219-73, and SF 330 Part IIs and CPARS documentation are excluded from the 50-page submission limit.
