About this file

This document is a Bid Request for Information (RFI) Log for the Relocation of Radiology at the VA Medical Center in Hudson Valley, Montrose, NY, associated with Solicitation Number 36C24225B0023A. The RFI log contains eight detailed requests for clarification on various aspects of the project, including window types, hardware specifications, seismic requirements, medical equipment installation, and system integrations. Key clarifications include confirming double-hung windows throughout Building 3, verifying medical gas equipment installation procedures, and identifying existing systems like the HillRom nurse call system.

The project involves renovating the radiology suite in Building 3, with the Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Health Administration managing the solicitation. Notable responses from the VA include confirming that the Site Safety and Health Officer (SSHO) can be shared between roles but not held by the same person, specifying that taxes should not be included in proposals, and indicating they will use ACC Build for project management instead of Procore. The VA will provide some equipment, such as a patient room lift system, while the contractor will be responsible for installation and integration with existing Niagara 4 headend systems.
