About this file

This document is a contract amendment for Solicitation 36C24224Q0851, which is a request for quotes (RFQ) for the annual cleaning of approximately 1,300 exterior windows at the Syracuse VA Medical Center. The amendment extends the closing date for quote submissions to August 15, 2024 and revises the Scope of Work (SOW) to include the cleaning of all ground through fourth floor windows, instead of the entire medical center.

The SOW requires the contractor to provide all necessary labor, materials, supervision, and travel to clean the exterior and storm windows, leaving them translucent and free of stains, dirt, and other substances. The work must be performed during normal business hours, Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays, and coordinated with the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) at least 7 days in advance. The contractor must use ladders or aerial man-lifts and provide a properly rated counterweight ballast when tying off. A complete digital report of the work performed must be emailed to the COR within 5 business days of completion.
