36C24223Q0055_01 Questions Responses from the Contract Specialist are in red font
| • | How much non-paper media is presented at each service, and is it separated from the paper? This requirement is for paper only. The Statement of Work (SOW) and Pricing Schedule will be updated to reflect this change. |
| • | Numerous service intervals are mentioned throughout the solicitation. Could you please confirm if the required service is every other week? Every other week to accomplish the bi-weekly requirement. |
| • | P. 7, first paragraph. This indicates that the contractor technician will walk through both buildings to check and empty consoles. How many consoles are required and how many are to be serviced each visit? How many rolling bins located at the docks will be serviced each visit? The contractor does not have to walk through the Bldg. 15 to 20 bins per visit. The vendor does not need to provide consoles and this change will be reflected in the updated SOW. |
| • | could you please provide the number of bins of non-paper media that needs to be destroyed at each visit? None. This requirement is for paper only. The Statement of Work (SOW) and Pricing Schedule will be updated to reflect this change. |
| • | are there stairs in either of the buildings or is it all ground level or access to an elevator? All services will be rendered on the ground level. |
| • | Can you please explain your pricing document to me? 0001 states quantity 0.00 so you don’t want any pricing there? 0001AA & 0001AB are the same as 0001AC and 0001AD so just wondering if AC and AD don’t need to be included on the pricing sheet if they are duplicates? The same goes for the following years… the AA and AB’s are the same as AC & AD so wasn’t sure what pricing you were wanting for the AC and AD. CLINs AC and AD have been removed for all years due to the change in the scope to only include paper shredding and destruction. SLINs AA and AB are the paper shredding and destruction services, one for both Castle Point and Montrose. CLINS 0001, 1001, 2001, 3001, 4001 are the total pricing of the respective AA and AB SLIN for each year. |
| • | Since the quantity for CLINs 0001, 1001, 2001, 3001, 4001 is 0.00, should the unit price and amount lines for those CLINs be left blank? These CLINS are for the total service for the respective year. This should be the total of the pricing for the AA and AB SLINs. |
| • | Are the “C” and “D” CLINs for non-paper media? If so, could you please provide the number of bins of non-paper media that needs to be destroyed at each visit? If they are not for non-paper media, please explain what the requirements are for those CLINs. CLINs AC and AD have been removed for all years due to the change in the requirement to only include paper shredding and destruction. |
