correct? also we completed similar bathroom work in East Orange campus bldg 1 and observed that all the existing bathroom walls were block walls. We had to remove the existing ceramic wall tiles and scrape and clean mortar from the block walls which took a long time and then had to fur out the existing block wall with 1 5/8'' furring channels and install the new cement board.

This application of cleaning the mortar from existing block walls is very labor intensive. So again requesting to clarify if existing bathroom walls are block walls or gypsum board with stud framing? Removal of tile and mortar is required, whether block or metal stud/gyp. bd. walls.

Due to small sizes of rooms, finish dimensions need to be maintained.

10- RFI no. 2 response--- spec section 01 00 00 is revised but bid pricing sheet on solicitation page

no. 3 of 64 should be revised too. Does the agency require separate line item price for asbestos abatement, fire suppression and plumbing? if yes then please make the required changes on the bid pricing sheet or we will have to include cost in Item I General Construction. Revised Bid Pricing sheet is included with this amendment.
