About this file
This is Amendment 0001 to solicitation 36C24126Q0441, a Questions and Answers document issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office 1 (NCO 1) for valet parking services at the Providence VA Medical Center in Providence, Rhode Island. The amendment clarifies key requirements and operational details for this Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set-aside requirement. The solicitation covers valet parking services to address parking accessibility issues for veteran patients and visitors at the facility, with the contractor responsible for ticketing, key management, vehicle parking, delivery, and direction services.
The Q&A document addresses 16 vendor inquiries and provides critical operational information, including confirmation that the requirement is an SDVOSB set-aside, the applicable wage determination (2015-4083 for Providence County, Rhode Island), current staffing levels (approximately 5 valet attendants), vehicle acceptance hours (until 5:00 PM EST), and parking area distance (approximately 100-125 feet from the valet stand). A mandatory site visit was scheduled for May 28, 2026, from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM EST at the Providence VA Medical Center (830 Chalkstone Avenue, Providence, RI 02908), with contact provided through the VA Providence Mobility Manager. Additional clarifications include confirmation that electronic recordkeeping is acceptable, video surveillance is maintained by VA Police, current average daily vehicle counts of 170 with 95% completion between 7:00 AM and 3:00 PM, and that the Statement of Work remains relatively unchanged from the previous contract (36C24122C0001).
