About this file
This is an amendment to a previous combined solicitation that addresses vendor questions regarding delivery requirements and logistics for the Captus 4000e Thyroid Uptake System procurement. The solicitation number is 36C24126Q0293, issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs Connecticut VAMC Contracting Office, with a response deadline of March 27, 2026 at 12:00 PM Eastern Time. The procurement is a 100% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set-aside for a brand-name only requirement (Product Service Code 6515, NAICS Code 339112). The place of performance is the VA Togus VAMC in Augusta, Maine.
The amendment clarifies two key vendor questions: (1) all equipment and components must be delivered within 90 days after award, and (2) a fully operational warehouse with liftgate service is available at the delivery location, eliminating the need for vendors to arrange separate liftgate services. The procurement requires delivery of one Captus 4000e Thyroid Uptake System with integrated DICOM interface, custom protocol capabilities, and an ergonomic mobile stand, along with on-site training and a neck phantom for thyroid uptake measurements. The primary contact for inquiries is Janice Jones at the Connecticut VAMC contracting office (janice.jones@va.gov). The archive date for this solicitation is 60 days after the response deadline.
