About this file

This document is a Consolidation Determination Memorandum for a Nationwide Infusion Pump Requirement by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Veterans Health Administration. The VA intends to consolidate infusion pump requirements across VHA facilities nationwide under solicitation number 36C24125R0070, with an anticipated Request for Proposal (RFP) release in May 2025 and a planned contract award on September 30, 2025. The consolidation is deemed necessary and justified under FAR 7.107, with the government determining that the benefits of a consolidated acquisition would exceed alternative approaches.

The opportunity is classified as an Intent to Bundle Requirements (DoD-Funded) and will support infusion pump unit procurement for VA facilities across the country. While specific vendor, pricing, and detailed requirements are not yet disclosed, the VA has prepared a consolidation determination memorandum indicating a strategic approach to streamlining the procurement process for these critical medical devices. The solicitation will be available for public review seven days prior to the RFP release, providing potential vendors an opportunity to assess the upcoming procurement opportunity.
