About this file

This document is a Request for Information (RFI) presentation for the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) Medical Surgical Prime Vendor (MSPV) Supplies program. The RFI aims to clean up and validate data for medical and surgical supplies used across VHA facilities, focusing on areas such as discontinued items, direct replacements, incorrect information (OEM name, number, country of origin), TAA compliance, private label items, pharmaceutical items, and medical equipment.

The MSPV program supports the largest integrated healthcare system with 1,380 medical facilities, 170 medical centers, and 1,193 outpatient sites, managing $2.1B in medical supply spend. The virtual Industry Day is scheduled for May 21, 2025, and responses to the RFI are due by 2:00 PM Eastern Time on June 6, 2025. Vendors must submit responses via email to specified VA contacts, with tentative dates for resuming quarterly solicitations in the FY25 4th quarter and a potential last VISN Fast track solicitation release in June 2025.
