· Can the Government provide any information on the number of survey questions?

There are a sequence of several multiple choice question to begin (16 items total).

There are sequence of 4 writing prompts that each have a range of follow-up short answer writing questions.

There is a concluding evaluation (short answer).

There is follow-up satisfaction evaluation (multiple choice).

· Is there any level of support for users for the surveys? Knowledge base, FAQs, tooltips or other requirements? Do the accessibility requirements include any in person support by phone or chat?

There will be introductory information explaining usage for each section. Ideally there would also be brief video instruction. No person support or chat support is included at this time.

· Will a VPAT be required by the VA Section 508 Office for the application? Will the VPAT be required to be submitted with the proposal?

To the best of my knowledge VPAT is not required at this point.

· Is there a strategic communication plan that informs the writing of content, calls-to-action or reading level requirements?

There is prior plan, but we look forward to developing plan with vendor.

· Will copy editing be required or will all copy be provided by the VA?

Copy editing will be provided by VA.

· Has an information architecture been planned previously or is it unnecessary for the scope of work?

Yes, initial site architecture has been planned. We are open to vendor recommendations.

· Is there any background on the audience that would inform design or usability? Is there any audience research that the vendor might be able to review to understand the audience needs, points of pain etc?

Audience is rural veterans that are not otherwise using VA mental health services. Yes, we can supply articles, demographics, other information as necessary.

· The scope specifies narrative and creative assessments, can the Government clarify what these components are more specifically, to understand how many views need to be designed and built?

Narrative and creative assessments include writing and drawing based prompts. Prompts facilitate users to tell personal stories through indirect mechanisms.

· Is there any static, required notices, instruction content or other content? Who I will write and edit that content and who will add that content to the system? Does the site need to be editable by admin users? Will the VA require user access?

Yes, there are statistic notices and instructions. Some aspects of site needs to be editable by admin users. VA will write and edit instructional prompts etc.

· What government systems does this need to work with if it lives in the cloud separately? Are there interoperable systems required? Which?

At this point, product is in testing stage so will be independent of interoperable systems. Product will avoid usage of any PHI and must ensure 508 compliance. Future iterations will work to integrate additional VA systems.
