About this file

This solicitation and related documents outline requirements for creative media services to support the Department of Veterans Affairs' National Safeguard Initiative Against Veteran Suicide. The solicitation seeks video and photography production, including concept development, production, and post-production of public service announcements and educational materials. Deliverables must be provided in multiple formats and include English and Spanish versions. The contractor must utilize Veterans and service members when possible, obtain proper releases, and verify participant status. All raw and final content will become government property. The documents specify technical standards like closed captioning and describe target audiences for the creative assets, including addressing risks for veteran subpopulations. The contractor will provide translations, 508 compliance, and assist the government in obtaining necessary approvals. This is intended to complement, not duplicate, other VA mental health messaging. The overall goal is to implement a public health approach to end veteran suicide through effective outreach, education, partnership, research, and communication.
