About this file

This document is a draft request for proposals (RFP) for a medical/surgical prime vendor program to support the Department of Veterans Affairs in Puerto Rico. The solicitation seeks to establish an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract to provide medical/surgical and related products to VA facilities on the island. Offerors must be able to deliver products within 24-48 hours to all sites. The contract will have a one-year base period and four one-year options and will utilize firm-fixed pricing for catalog items and labor rates for non-catalog items. The RFP includes requirements for order management systems, reporting capabilities, and performance metrics to ensure adequate fill rates and customer service. Proposals are due by December 15, 2018 and the agency aims to award the contract by April 2019.
