– Contractor Questions and Government Responses (Question numbers are continued from Amendment 00001 –**
Question 14:
Will all testing need to be onsite with our IST (Integration Services Team) whom is Softwarehouse CCURE 9000 Certified be required to perform all testing onsite or can we remote-in with both teams?
Answer 14:
On-site testing is requested.
Question 15:
Will the contractor be required to run additional cable such as composite or CAT5? These readers typically require a CAT5/6 cable.
Answer 15:
See question 11 on Amendment 00001 “See As-Builts for cabling type, no new cabling is anticipated.”
Question 16:
Will there be an escort required if we already have PIV VA approved badges?
Answer 16:
Contractors who have current favorable background investigation previously conducted by OPM or DCSA may be accepted through reciprocation. The contractor shall meet the requirements of Part 8 of the Statement of Work.
Question 17:
Will the contractor be required to purchase any software licenses for the system?
Answer 17:
Contractor is responsible for performing all services need for installation, configuring, testing, licenses, etc. for an integrated fully functional system.

Is the CCURE system licenses up to date?

Question 19:
Are there any pre-existing issues with the system that could stop us from being able to complete the integration?
Answer 19:
Due to time constraints the VA is currently unable to adequately answer this question.

Will the contractor be required to configure the software management system for the replacement readers?
Answer 20:
Contractor is responsible for performing all services of installation, configuring, testing, licenses, etc. for an integrated fully functional system.
