– Contractor Questions, Government Responses and Statement of Work Updates **
Question 1 What is the model # of the existing readers?
Answer 1:
Innometriks Cheetah SE High Assurance Smart Card Reader (no biometrics)
Question 2:
What cable(s) are used on the existing reader?
Answer 2:

Is existing card reader power supply sufficient to power the new readers?

What are the configuration requirements of the new reader?
Answer 4:
The biometrics are stored on the PIV Card, none stored on the reader. We have one reader with two factor authentication that requires a PIV card scan plus a PIN number.
Question 5:
Will a laptop be provided for system configuration and commissioning of the new readers?
Answer 5:
Yes, only if the system configuration and commissioning can be done from the enrollment station located in the PIV room.
Question 6:
Are floor plans and as-built documentation available?
Answer 6:

Question 7:
Is there a preferred new reader installation sequencing or can the integrator select the sequence to replace readers?
Answer 7:
There may be a few priority doors required first but will be determined after contract award.
Question 8:
Are C-Cure software and hardware current versions?
Answer 8:
Current install is version 3.00.3.
Question 9:
Will new readers 'fit' in existing reader footprint or will mounting changes be needed?
Answer 9:
Existing Innometriks Cheetah readers are slightly narrower than proposed new readers – However, no mounting changes are anticipated.
Question 10:
What is the Softwarehouse systems S/N that the new readers will be installed on?
Answer 10:
The System SN is 9-17923
Question 11:
Can you provide the existing cabling type and quantity going to each existing reader location to be replaced with new reader and are we able to utilize this cable or does new cable need to be run.
Answer 11:
See As-Builts for cabling type, no new cabling is anticipated.
Question 12:
Do the existing readers have a biometric component too? Was it using a Software House High Assurance solution or some other piece of software to compare the fingerprints?
Answer 12:
There is no Biometric component to the existing reader nor required for the new readers.
Question 13:
If new cable is to be run can you confirm power cable at 12VDC 1amp yet can be configured with either OSDP RS485 cable or TCP/IP using Cat6 which is desired
Answer 13:
