The Performance Work Statement and price spreadsheet were updated on June 20, 2024 to reflect changes to the kiosk requirements at certain locations.

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

36C10A24Q0032

QUESTION #1: The April 17, 2024, Notice stated that this would be a VOSB/SDVOSB Set-Aside. We wanted to bring to your attention the Form 1449 Box 10. has this as a Set-Aside for Small Business.

ANSWER #1: Form 1149 Box 10 does not contain an option specifically for Veteran-Owned Small Business. The RFQ is a VOSB set-aside.

QUESTION #2: We also noticed that some locations may not be accounted for such as, Norther Nevada and Southern Nevada Veterans Cemetery. We can work with the COR on any additions or changes in this regard.

ANSWER #2: These sites are State Veteran cemeteries and their kiosks are not subject to this solicitation. Changes or additions must be worked through the Contracting Officer.

QUESTION #3: We also noticed that there may be some locations that currently have a through-wall kiosk but where the solicitation calls for an Indoor Floor Model. For example, I was at the Long Island National Cemetery this past Friday to do a quick site review. Long Island National Cemetery currently has 2 through the wall kiosks.

However, the RFQ calls for (2) indoor floor models. Perhaps the confusion may be that these 2 Kiosks are actually inside the administration building in an alcove. I have attached a picture to this email. In our plan we will include a task of a site survey (phone or in person) with the Cemetery Administrative Officer to ensure the selection, implementation, and locations align to the RFQ and if necessary, work with the COR on any changes as a result.

ANSWER #3: The Long Island National Cemetery updated its kiosks from Indoor Floor Models to Through the Wall Models. The Performance Work Statement (PWS), dated June 20, 2024, has been updated to reflect this change.

QUESTION #4: Section 5.1.1 is Titled "Configurations, Installation, and Removal". Is the current in place Kiosk to be removed by Vendor?

ANSWER #4: The Contractor shall remove any existing Through the Wall Kiosk Enclosure currently installed prior to installing any new kiosk. Removal of any Indoor Floor Freestanding Kiosks will be on an as needed basis and shall be defined on individual task orders. The Government shall dispose of all removed kiosk. It is critical that the new kiosk meet all size specifications. The PWS and Attachment 3 - Price Spreadsheet, dated June 20, 2024, have been revised.

QUESTION #5: Is the disposal of the current in place Kiosk the responsibility of the Vendor?

ANSWER #5: Disposal would be the responsibility of the Government.

QUESTION #6: The verbiage of the RFQ only focuses on Installation but is not clear on removal of the previous in place through the wall.

ANSWER #6: The Contractor shall remove any existing Through the Wall Kiosk Enclosure currently installed prior to installing any new kiosk. Removal of any Indoor Floor Freestanding Kiosks will be on an as needed basis and shall be defined on individual task orders. The Government shall dispose of all removed kiosk. It is critical that the new kiosk meet all size specifications. The PWS and Attachment 3 - Price Spreadsheet have been revised.

QUESTION #7: [The requirement is] listed as a Solicitation and then today a sources sought was tagged to it with 9 past older documents. Which is it? What will be the date questions are due and the bid due?

ANSWER #7: The sources sought notice for this requirement was issued several months ago and included ongoing notices to industry to advise on status. The solicitation was issued on June 12, 2024 with a close date of June 25, 2024 at 10am ET. Per the RFQ, questions were due on June 17, 2024.
