About this file
This document is an Amendment of Solicitation (Amendment No. 0002) for a uniform rental and laundering contract issued by the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. The solicitation covers uniform services for approximately 20 employees, including standard uniforms and fire-resistant uniforms, with each employee requiring 11 shirts and pants. The anticipated contract award date is September 19, 2025, and funding has been appropriated. The uniform laundering will follow industry standard rotation: 5 uniforms laundered, 5 uniforms worn by employees, and 1 uniform in reserve, with additional items like jackets and coveralls cleaned as needed.
Key details include specific uniform requirements outlined in the Statement of Work (SOW) sections 3.1.1 and 3.1.2, which address standard and flame-resistant uniform specifications. The Kennedy Center logo for embroidery will be provided after contract award. No site visit is offered, but a post-award conference will be held. This is a new requirement with no incumbent contractor, and the contract falls under NAICS Code 812332 for commercial uniform rental and laundering services.
