About this file

This is Amendment #1 to Invitation to Bid (ITB) #32801-13963 issued by the Tennessee Department of Wildlife Resources Agency (TWRA) for an intake slide gate and screen at TWRA's Lillard's Mill facility in Marshall County, Tennessee. The amendment clarifies that this solicitation is solely a materials and delivery purchase, not a materials purchase plus installation bid. TWRA is seeking bids on a one-time fabricated stainless steel intake slide gate measuring 36 inches by 48 inches and a stainless steel wedge wire screen measuring 44 inches by 56 inches with frame. The original bid submission deadline was August 11, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. CDT, with questions due by August 3, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. CST. Delivery is required within 60 days of purchase order issuance to the facility located at 1006 Milltown Road, Lewisburg, Tennessee 37091. On-site inspection prior to bid submission is required, and bidders remain responsible for obtaining exact measurements and examining the premises.

The amendment addresses vendor inquiries regarding historical pricing data and scope clarification. TWRA confirmed it has not previously purchased comparable equipment and therefore has no historical pricing data available. The screen must be fabricated by Hendrick Screen Company using Type 304 stainless steel with mechanically interlocked profile bars, a 0.375-inch slot opening, and 72.8 percent open area, rated for 12-foot hydraulic differential loading. Compliance with the Build America, Buy America Act is mandatory, requiring greater than 55 percent domestically mined components. The contractor must provide shop drawings and design calculations by a registered professional engineer prior to manufacturing and deliver a one-year manufacturing warranty from acceptance. Freight is F.O.B. destination with the State of Tennessee tax-exempt status, and payment terms are Net 30 days from invoice date upon completion and approval by the TWRA Engineering Division. Bids must remain firm for 90 days, and award will be made to the lowest-cost responsive and responsible bidder.
