TextField1: Nebraska Subsistence BPA
TextField1: 722320
TextField1: The Subsistence that is required is needed, potentially, at any location in Nebraska. The vast majority of locations are listed but occasionally there could be one outside of the listed areas. Do you have any issues with this? Please provide feedback.
TextField1: Pre-Priced Meals. A specific menu detailing what to cook will not be provided. The NENG’s definition of a meal is provided. There are five meal types and then the same five types but on short notice. Our expectation is, the five meal types are common meals and pricing should reflect the local market. Delivery fees need to be included in meal prices along with any other fees. Meal pricing should be the same across the state. For example, 75 Hot – BK meals (PWS 1.1) should be the same meal, at the same price whether it is delivered in Omaha or North Platte. Please provide feedback.
TextField1: NENG is trying to leverage vendor skill, ingenuity and allow freedom to the specific meal delivered. We anticipate this freedom to allow the vendor to be dynamic in their meal variety. We have provided the details of what the NENG says is a healthy meal along with quantities and any allowed variations. Is this a good solution/compromise? Any issues? Please provide feedback. Will this help to lower prices?
TextField1: In an effort to reduce overall costs, NENG will not provide a specific meal to cook. As stated in #3, we will provided the details of what makes a meal according to NENG. Will this be more cost effective? Are there any other ideas to save money?
TextField1: Pre-Priced Fees. The Raw Subsistence and Edibles can/will vary quite a bit, from Gatorade, to cookies to local restaurant taco bars. NENG does not believe there is a way to Pre-Price all required items. Therefore, we are looking for a Pre-Priced Fee to organize the requirement. This fee will be based on the receipt for each BOR. The vendor will be asked to provide two fees, one for receipts below $500 and one for receipts above $500. These requirements will be from businesses in the city the requirements are needed. For example, a Taco Bell taco bar in Omaha. Any issues with this? Please provide feedback.
TextField1: Is 30 days enough to plan/execute subsistence?
TextField1: After the initial order is made, how much notification is needed if there is a large change? For example, location change or the meal type change.
TextField1: After the initial order is made, how much notification is needed if there is a small quantity change? For example, increasing/decreasing quantity 10%.
TextField1: PWS 1.6 Short Notice Meals, these meals are for urgent or emergency situations. We foresee using them sporadically. With this in mind, can you support meals with 48 hours' notice? If not, what time-frame could you support?
TextField1: Follow on to #9, Short Notice Meals, how significant would the cost increase be? Minor or major? 10% or 50%. Please provide any feedback.
