About this file
This document is a Short-List Arrangement solicitation from Boulder County Procurement located at 1325 Pearl Street in Boulder, Colorado. The solicitation seeks to create a "short list" of qualified vendors who may be selected for county projects on a project-by-project basis, with no guarantee of work. For projects less than $10,000, the County may assign work to any vendor on the shortlist based on project needs, while for projects $10,000 and greater, the County will reach out to all vendors on the short list and request quotes, ultimately selecting a vendor based on the timely provided quotes.
The procurement approach allows for flexible vendor selection without committing to a specific vendor or volume of work. The County retains discretion in assigning projects, with the method of vendor selection varying depending on the project's monetary value. Specific details about the selection process are outlined in Paragraph 2 of the contract template, which contains the precise language regarding the "Short list" arrangement that contractors will agree to when participating in this procurement process.

Short-List Arrangement
This solicitation for qualifications seeks to create a “short list” of vendors under contract with the County; however, it does not guarantee work.
Vendors will be selected on a project-by-project basis. For projects less than $10,000, the County may assign work to any vendor on the shortlist based on project needs. For projects $10,000 and greater, the County will reach out to all vendors under contract on the short list and provide a deadline for vendors to provide a quote. The County will select a vendor based on the quotes timely provided.
Paragraph 2 of the contract template contains the specific language that contractor will agree to with respect to this “Short list” arrangement.
