About this file
Temple Independent School District (Temple ISD) in Texas has issued a Request for Proposals (RFP #002-26) for the procurement and installation of 360 Interactive Flat Panels (IFPs) across district facilities. The project will be completed in two phases: 175 devices will be delivered and installed upon contract award, with an additional 185 devices to be installed after July 1, 2026. Specifically, the district requires BenQ RP7504 75-inch interactive displays with 4K UHD resolution, 40-point multi-touch capability, and Android-based operating systems. The solicitation includes comprehensive installation services involving removal of existing projection equipment, electrical infrastructure modifications, data connectivity provisions, and accompanying NFC cards for user authentication. The proposal submission deadline is November 28, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. CST, with a contract award anticipated on December 9, 2025.
The evaluation will be weighted across multiple criteria, with price accounting for 40 points, technical compliance and equipment specifications 20 points, and installation capabilities 15 points. Vendors must demonstrate authorized BenQ reseller status, licensed electrical contractor credentials in Texas, and minimum five years of experience installing interactive display technology in educational settings. The district will assess proposals based on total project cost, implementation approach, vendor qualifications, training services, and documentation quality. All costs, including delivery, installation, removal, and disposal, must be included in the proposed pricing, with no hidden or excluded costs permitted. The project has a 90-day completion timeline, and vendors are required to coordinate installations during non-instructional hours to minimize educational disruption.
