About this file

This document is an Addendum #2 to Invitation to Bid (ITB) #7114-25-ELD issued by Lubbock Power & Light (LP&L) Purchasing Department for Distribution Transformers. The bid is scheduled to close on September 5, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. CST, with the addendum being released on August 25, 2025. The addendum addresses two specific vendor questions regarding technical specifications for a 250kVA single phase transformer, specifically clarifying details about the transformer's physical arrangement and low voltage bushing configuration.

The addendum provides two key clarifications: first, LP&L will not accept exceptions to the specified flip top style arrangement for the transformer, and second, the single phase pad mount transformer requires 3 low voltage bushings, as depicted on page 49 of the original bid document. Vendors are instructed to submit any additional information requests or clarifications through the Bonfire Vendor Discussion Tab. The document suggests this is part of a procurement process for electrical utility equipment, with precise technical specifications being critical to the bidding process.

Questions and answers, please see questions in red.

1. On the 250kVA single phase unit can you verify if we can take exception to the flip top style arrangement that you have in the bid package?

No, we will not take exceptions to the flip top arrangement.

2. I need to get the low voltage on the single phase pad verified. As written on the ITB, 120/240, it would be with 4 low voltage bushings?

Single phase pad mount requires 3 LV bushings as pictured on page 49 of the bid document.

Thank You, Megan Moniz CTCD
