About this file
This document is Addendum #1 for Invitation to Bid (ITB) #7114-25-EUA issued by Lubbock Power & Light's Purchasing Department for Distribution Transformers. The addendum extends the bid closing date to September 5, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. CST, with a timeline for questions and clarifications extended to August 29, 2025. Bidders are required to submit all proposals electronically through the Bonfire portal, with manufacturer specifications and drawings to be emailed to MMoniz@mylubbock.us by August 26, 2025 at 5:00 p.m. CST.
The addendum addresses several key bidder questions, clarifying that overseas manufacturers can participate, no bid bond is required, and there are no Buy American requirements for this bid. Bidders must include a Bulk Power System Sourcing Disclosure Form with their submission. The specifications include transformers with specific voltage requirements, such as a 2500kva transformer at 208/120 volts and a 250kva padmount transformer with dual volt capability. Potential bidders are directed to section 24 of the Instructions to Bidders for country restrictions and are advised to carefully review the detailed specifications for transformer configurations and requirements.
